Our First Initiative

Save America’s Pets has initiated a pilot program with the Southern Branch of the Community Food Bank of New Jersey with the goal of creating a Pet Food Pantry.

The Food Bank currently has over 500 families that use it’s pantry services on a monthly basis. Our goal is to reduce the number of pets that are relinquished due to financial hardship. The plan is to offer pet food assistance to the families that need it most with the hope that they will be able to keep the “entire” family together, which means their pets also.

The plan involves purchasing food and delivering it to the Southern Branch of the Community Food Bank of New Jersey in Egg Harbor Township. Save America’s Pets will also solicit assistance from pet food manufacturing companies.
